Notes for Jon Lax:

I think that ideally, we'd like to have set of icons that are consistent with each other, of differing sizes.

(1) a banner, (2) an icon, (3) a small icon.
I'd seek your guidance on the exact sizes, but I think they should be as "standard" as possible. I'm sure banner and icon advertisements have some kind of quasi-standard, and by "small icon", I mean the size of those small "best viewed with Netscape" kind of icons.

As we discussed on the phone, it might make sense to have a pair of compatible icons sets: One for golden-key-crypto-privacy and one for blue-ribbon-free-speech. Given our tight time constraints, maybe we could focus on the golden-key-crypto-privacy icons for now.

Background ...

Standard Logo for Electronic Frontier Canada
and crude idea for banner layout.

The reddish background could be replaced with a dark background, like the EFF banner logo below. To Canadianize it, the greenish 1's and 0's could be reddish, and perhaps small red maple leafs could be intermingled with the 1's and 0's (for instance one of every 10 or 20 digits could be turned into a maple leaf).
